Interview with the Vampire Season 2

I’ve been blown away by Interview with the Vampire, and if you haven’t yet seen Season 1, I highly recommend you do. Season 2 is even better, and it’s a mystery to me how this series has flown under the radar for so long.

The show features incredible talent, with Jacob Anderson delivering an unforgettable performance as Louis. His portrayal of the character’s complexity and inner turmoil is nothing short of mesmerizing. Sam Reid, as Lestat, brings an intense energy to the role that captures both the charm and danger of the vampire, making their tumultuous relationship deeply captivating. Assad Zaman, who plays Armand, adds even more layers of intrigue with his enigmatic presence, and his chemistry with the other actors is impeccable. The entire cast, including the outstanding supporting actors, fully embodies their characters, and the way they bring the story to life is nothing short of remarkable.

The writing is truly masterful. It draws you in from the start and keeps you completely invested in every character’s journey—whether it’s tragic, terrifying, or deeply emotional. The emotional range and intensity of the show is unmatched, and the storytelling is nothing short of brilliant.

What really stands out is the pacing. The show has a perfect rhythm, keeping you hooked with every episode, leaving you wanting more. Each character, from Louis to Lestat to Armand, takes you on a gripping journey that you can’t tear yourself away from. The way the show builds their stories and intertwines their lives is compelling.

I don’t often rave about shows, but this one deserves all the praise. While it might not be everyone’s cup of tea, the story it tells and how it tells it is nothing short of incredible. Hats off to the entire production team; this series deserves far more recognition and awards than it’s currently getting.

You can currently watch this in the UK via the BBCiplayer if you are looking for a new show this spooky season then this is the show for you.
